Protest against the Ownership Situation at Morecambe Football Club planned for Saturday 16th November 2024.
The Shrimps Trust made the following announcement a week ago:

Subsequently, the Trust has updated this announcement with the following statement:

Statement in preparation for the planned protest on Saturday 16 November Thank you for all the support this week in preparation for the protest action at the Morecambe vs Port Vale match on Saturday.
From the police force and our local MP, to the media, the FSA, and throughout the football family – you have shown us Shrimps fans a tremendous amount of comradery and support.
Whilst this is a protest, which is everyone’s right, we want to make sure the event goes ahead without a hitch, and (most importantly) without affecting the on-pitch activity.
A few points of note to those in attendance:
1. Banners will only be allowed in the ground if they have the correct fire regulation certificates.
2. Whilst balloons are being allowed into the ground, please ensure these are kept away from the direction of the pitch and within the stands. The aim of the balloons is to create a display in the stands. Please DO NOT throw them towards the pitch.
3. The ‘For Sale’ signs from our previous demonstration will be taken into the ground by the Trust before the game. If you turn up with one of these, they will not be allowed through the turnstiles. We will be taking plenty into the ground, so please do not bring your own.
We extend our thanks to the Port Vale fans who have indicated they will support our protest.
There will be more rubbish generated than usual at the match, for which bin liners will be available after the match. Please can we ask everyone to do their share, and help the clean-up effort as they exit the stadium. Thanks to Paul Hodgson for this.
So remember:

See you there…
